PhD-Center for Career Development (CCD) Industry Career Development Modules

The Center for Career Development’s (CCD) mission is to serve every Rice undergraduate and non-MBA graduate student to help them find and make their place in the world. The first pillar of the CCD’s mission is “Educate.” This includes educating students about all things career and how to successfully navigate the internship and job search. These modules are designed for PhD students interested in pursuing careers in industry and will reinforce services offered through the CCD on topics including, but not limited to: resume writing, professional correspondence, internship/job search (including the rights and responsibilities of a job candidate), networking, interview preparation, and other career-related topics.

These modules leverage popular CCD workshop and appointment topics to introduce, reinforce and ultimately empower PhD students to gain insight into their career development.
